<Abstract>

La représentation des connaissances se situe au coeur de la problématique des sciences cognitives en général, et de l’intelligence artificielle en particulier. Elle fait parfois appel à des théories développées antérieurement mais qu’elle utilise sous un angle particulier, parfois elle crée de nouveaux outils conceptuels.

Les travaux de Daniel Kayser portent sur différents aspects de l’intelligence artificielle. Il a dirigé le programme de recherches coordonnées que le ministère chargé de la Recherche a consacré à ce sujet, et il a contribué au développement de la recherche cognitive en France. Il est professeur à l’Université Paris-Nord.
